Of the 26 species of crocodilians, the Australian Saltwater (Estuarine) Crocodile produces the leather most sought after by high end French and Italian fashion houses.

The Saltwater Crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) skin is renowned for its attractive symmetrical pattern of small scales with ‘buttons’ on the outer edge and square scales towards the centre. No two skins are the same. Each skin has an individual scale pattern making every Croctique leather good truly unique.

The skins used for Croctique leather goods are sourced exclusively from Hartley’s Creek Crocodile Farm in Wangetti, Far North Queensland, Australia. The government approved farm operates to world’s best practice in husbandry and sustainability.
